When cleaning supplies are scattered—one spray in the bathroom, wipes in the kitchen, cloths in some drawer—you’re less likely to deal with small messes right away. It’s effort to assemble everything, so you postpone.
A cleaning caddy is just a simple tub, basket or tray that holds the basics: an all-purpose cleaner, glass cleaner, a couple of microfibre cloths, maybe a scrub pad and gloves. If it lives in a fixed, easy-to-reach spot, you can grab it and go whenever you notice dirty fingerprints, dusty shelves or a smeared mirror.
Because everything is together, a five-minute wipe-down actually takes five minutes, not fifteen. Over time, this habit keeps surfaces reasonably clean without needing marathon cleaning sessions every weekend.
